Cob Workshop & Potluck October 19!

We are excited to be collaborating with  Ann Arbor- Ypsi Reskilling at their upcoming event!

Cob is a natural plaster that can be used for building structures and for interior design.  Jacob Gnath will instruct us in the techniques he learned at The Strawbale Studio, and we will begin the process of earthing the interior of this community space.

1979 McKinley, Ypsilanti – 5:30-8:30pm

First hour will be a potluck, and then we will go into two hours of instruction.  Bring an instrument for playing music at the bonfire afterwards.

We look forward to seeing you at our first Reskilling Event!

Planning Council

Welcome Planning Council!

What does the Everything is Free Faire actually look like?

Join us this Tuesday, October 3 at 6pm to participate!

Everyone who attends is invited to participate in this council, exercising horizontal leadership within our working model of the faire.  Bring something to share or just yourself.  This week we are specifically looking for hygienic and household items for Puerto Rico.
Meet at 1015 N. Congress and we will set up and run through a day at the faire.  On a microscale, for a couple of hours, and incubate the seeds we are ready to plant throughout the community.

Our first planning council meeting was a great success!  We joined together for a meal and circular discussion of our goals, intentions and backgrounds.  Many supporting ideas were generated, and in our vigor we agreed to call our upcoming gathering an incubator faire.

It’s on!
